New Years Eve Ice Run

We had a nice run for New Years Eve. The Ice company almost missed getting our ice to us...but in the end, it worked out fine. They packed extra to make up for the increased sublimation losses.

We seemed to be better at ice loss this time, too.....perhaps a function of the extreme cold the last month.

Temp is down to a more manageable -70F

I estimate we added almost 1800 pounds....and there was close to 500 pounds left.

Looked better when we added the 1800.....

We're trying to use slabs without the paper and plastic bags....seems to last longer, though it's a bit fun to load and unload.....

Yes, it was quite a job moving 180 slabs....

But we looked good doing it!

In fact, watch for the March edition of Detail Magazine for Men...we're there!!

The photographer took some....interesting shots. We'll see....

Meanwhile, we'll keep growing our Crystal Critters and look forward to a new year...and the upcoming FDGDaze.
