June Ice Run done on July 16, 2008

According to Shift Policy, we are now two weeks ahead of schedule and we will now shift back to a four week time frame, and slowly drop back 3-4 days each month. By the end of the year, we are scheduled to be back to December's Run in December.

 

The rings of frost left after sublimation are like rings on a tree....you can see the warm/cool cycles the ice went through.

 

 

 

 

The thermometer was reading around -75, indicating all was well.

 

Some very nice crystals were forming.....

We had approximately 350 pounds left.....which we re-distributed in a more even manner.

Then we added our 1800 pounds and created some mist.

 

The mist got thicker....

But, we finished and all was well for another month......
